The workshop took place in person and online.

At the seminar, Mr. Tan Li Jun, Chief Engineer of TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd., introduced the core technologies and latest products in the fields of ultra-high voltage power transmission, offshore wind power, nuclear power and pumped storage hydropower. TBEA also introduced advanced technologies such as mobile substations, pre-assembled modular substations, medium and low voltage energy-saving transformers, GIS products, capacitors, and dry resistors.

Representatives of EVN's professional departments and participating units directly and online also asked many open questions, revolving around technical work, installed capacity, equipment efficiency, etc.

TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd. was established in 1951, with expertise in research and development of 10-1000kV transformers and electromagnetic resistors. The company's products are applied in many important fields such as ultra-high voltage power transmission, hydropower, thermal power, nuclear power and large-scale renewable energy, and have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions.

TBEA said that the company pursues the goal of "Green development towards low carbon emissions". The company's annual production value reaches more than 20 billion USD, with an annual transformer output of 300,000 MVA, ranking first in the world. Since 2004, TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd. has supplied more than 300 transformers and electric reactors in Vietnam; and participated in many key projects such as Lai Chau Hydropower Plant, Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant, Dau Tieng 500MW Solar Power Project. The company was also awarded a certificate of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2016.
